The first month of 2021 is done! If like us, you’ve been in a month of lockdown, then you’ll join us in celebrating the end of this chilly winter month. 

But we’ve got some good news to fight off those January blues! Thanks to the contributions of Treepoints members, we’ve had another great month fighting climate change. 

January: The month in Treepoints

In January, the Treepoints community offset 100 tonnes of CO2 equivalents, a 25% increase on the previous month, and taking us to 176 tonnes to date. 

We’re chuffed and if you’re one of our members contributing to this, you should be too! 

Projects you supported this month 

This January, our Treepoints members focused on supporting carbon reduction projects in India and Indonesia. 

• Bringing wind energy to Madhya Pradesh
• Clean energy for 70,000 local homes in Sidrap, Indonesia
• Generating clean electricity for communities in Andhra Pradesh
• 22.5MW Wind Power Project in Rajasthan, India 

Together, we offset a total of 100 tonnes of CO2 emissions across the month.

Whether it’s plastic, meat, new clothes, or flying, we could all eliminate from our daily routines to help fight climate change this month.
